I have many years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults who are experiencing emotional and/or behavioral difficulties. While we can't change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand their impact and resolve the current challenges you face. By applying complementary therapy approaches and techniques, we will examine behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
I have a special interest in working with women who are experiencing adjustment, mood, and/or anxiety symptoms during pregnancy and/or after the birth of a child. It is estimated that 1 out of 7 women suffer from postpartum depression and/or anxiety. Mood and anxiety disorders related to pregnancy and childbirth are treatable. Mothers need to know that they are not alone and with help, they will be well.
