I have many years of experience providing psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and their families. As a therapist, I am dedicated to engaging in a collaborative process to help clients make and maintain positive changes in their lives. I use a cognitive behavioral approach to identify and address negative patterns that may be affecting mood, relationships, and overall well-being.
In addition to treating children and adolescents, I have a special interest in working with women who are experiencing adjustment, mood, and/or anxiety symptoms during pregnancy and/or after the birth of a child. It is estimated that 1 out of 7 women suffer from postpartum depression and/or anxiety. Mood and anxiety disorders related to pregnancy and childbirth are treatable. Mothers need to know that they are not alone and with help, they will be well.
